Friday 11th April - Another one knocked off...

So, since I had to drop the tumble-drier off at Donal's in Carlisle, and needed to visit Keswick, why not knock off one of the more elusive Wainwrights while I was at it? The weather was interesting, either raining, sleeting, snowing or sunshine, so I didn't plan on going too far, or high. Little Mell Fell hit the spot; so long as I was prepared to commit to 20 minutes, it was in the bag! And, sure enough, I was and the sky stayed cleared apart from a light snow flurry on the top. Forty three to go I think...

Towards Helvellyn from the summit - still plenty of snow about
