The Newfield Inn, Duddon Valley
Sunday 30th March - Lunch at the Newfield Inn : )
A leg-stretcher before lunch; from Froth Pot (Birks Bridge, but I like Froth Pot!) in the Duddon, up into the Dunnerdale forest to Grassguards farm, then along the ridge above Wallowbarrow Gorge, round below the Crag and down, over the river, to the Newfield Inn. Fine sunny day with a bit of a breeze, only about 4 miles, but well worth it - lunch was good as well!
